Experienced meditation teacher,Dylan Jordan will explain simple meditation techniques and special ways of thinking designed to enhance positivity, peace and meaning in the midst of an active, modern lifestyle. These classes will help you feel very confident to meditate at home if you wish.
Classes are suitable for beginners and those with more experience of meditation. Each class consists of guided meditations and practical advice and is followed by refreshments if you want to stick around for awhile to chat to the teacher and other attendees.
There are new people at every class, drop in anytime.

Dylan has been studying and practicing Buddhist meditation for many years. His light and practical style bring Buddha’s teachings to life in an easily accessible way. Dylan teaches regularly at KMC Colorado and regularly fills in for Kadam Lucy when she is away.
Westside Community Center

The class will be in the “Lower Classrom” which is in the main building. From the parking lot go in the main entrance. Take a left at the gymnasium and the Lower Classroom is at the end of the hall.
SNOW POLICY – Westside Community Center follows School District 11 guidelines for inclement weather. If District 11 is closed, WCC is CLOSED. However, if District 11 operates on a delay, WCC will be open.
$10 per class (students and seniors: $7).
No preregistration is required.

Do I have to be a Buddhist to benefit from meditation?
No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they subscribe to another faith, or to none.
Do I need to have experience in meditation or Buddhism to attend the classes?
No. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.
What do I need to bring to class?
Nothing in particular, just yourself; though you can bring a pen and notepad if you want to take notes.
How should I dress for class?
No particular clothing is required. Just dress comfortably.
