Relaxation Meditation in Denver

Class Description

simplyMedImageCreate some space and peace in your busy life with simple, guided breathing meditations that will allow you to relax and de-stress. Be inspired by practical advice that you can use to solve your daily problems. Return home feeling calm, refreshed and uplifted!

Kadampa Buddhism is a special presentation of Buddha’s teachings that are immediately practical in our modern world and a way to solve all our problems.

Dates & Times & Cost

Drop-in at any time during the series. No need to pre-register.

Tuesdays from 7:00 – 8:00pm

Cost: $5 per class (free for GP members).

We are a non-profit organization. 

All profits go towards supporting the International Temples Project for World Peace.

Ruth cropWith Ruth Borri

Ruth is a Kadampa Buddhist meditation teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Colorado. She has been a Kadampa Buddhist and student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years. She studies on the Teacher Training Program and teaches the Tuesday night weekly class ‘Simply Meditate’ at the Center. Her experience of integrating meditation into her daily life, makes her a practical and sincere teacher.

FAQs

Do I have to be a Buddhist to benefit from meditation?

No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they subscribe to another faith, or to none.

Do I need to have experience in meditation or Buddhism to attend the classes?
No. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.

What do I need to bring to class?
Nothing in particular, however if you wish to take notes bring a pen and notepad.

How should I dress for class?
No particular clothing is required.
