Tweens and teens in particular are often wrestling with big questions about the meaning of life, who they want to be, and what they do or do not believe. KMC Colorado provides a supportive environment where teens can ask questions about spiritual topics and learn to apply meditation for a meaningful and beneficial way of life. All teens are welcome at the class, regardless of religious affiliation.
Happiness Hour consists of a short talk and guided relaxing meditation to help us increase our peaceful good heart. It is an ideal way to unwind after work and recharge for a great evening ahead.
Happiness Hour is based on the new book, How to Transform Your Life, available as a free download if you would like to study at home!
There are new people at every class, drop in anytime.
Everyone is welcome!

Do I have to be a Buddhist to benefit from meditation?
No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they subscribe to another faith, or to none.
Do I need to have experience in meditation or Buddhism to attend the classes?
No. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.
What do I need to bring to class?
Nothing in particular, just yourself; though you can bring a pen and notepad if you want to take notes.
How should I dress for class?
No particular clothing is required. Just dress comfortably.
Can I bring my kids?
Not for Happiness Hour meditations, sorry, we don’t have the staff. But we have a class especially for kids on Sundays, and on Wednesdays families with kids too young to sit quietly in the main meditation room are invited to use the video link room under supervision with their parents.
