When the flow of distracting thoughts subsides and the mind becomes still, a deep sense of happiness and contentment arises naturally from within. -Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Relaxation meditation – take a real break for lunch!
Take 30 minutes in the middle of the day to connect to your heart, cultivate inner peace and happiness, and clarify your intention for the day.
Includes a short introduction followed by a simple, effective guided meditation, such as mindfulness of breathing, that will transform your lunch hour and the rest of your day.
Why not make a habit of it?
Escape from the stress and worries of the day into the stillness and clarity of your own mind.
There are new people at every class, drop in anytime. Everyone is welcome!
You are welcome to stay and chat to the meditation instructor afterwards.

Do I have to be a Buddhist to benefit from meditation?
No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they subscribe to another faith, or to none.
Do I need to have experience in meditation or Buddhism to attend the classes?
No. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.
What do I need to bring to class?
Nothing in particular, just yourself; though you can bring a pen and notepad if you want to take notes.
How should I dress for class?
No particular clothing is required. Just dress comfortably.
Can I bring my kids?
Not for lunchtime meditations, sorry, we don’t have the staff. But we have a class especially for kids on Sundays, and on Wednesdays families with kids too young to sit quietly in the main meditation room are invited to use the video link room under supervision with their parents.
