Tantra, also known as Secret Mantra or Vajrayana, is a special method to purify our world, our self, our enjoyments, and our activities; and if we put this method into practice, we will attain enlightenment very quickly. Practicing Sutra teachings is the basic foundation of our spiritual path and the practice of Tantra is the quick method to fulfill the ultimate goal of Sutra teachings.
Sat. September 26 | 10:00am-1:30pm
In these sessions we will learn about – and practice – a beautiful purification ritual that helps clear away difficulties in developing faith and conviction in Dharma and in making progress on the stages of the path to enlightenment. As with all purification practices, it also prevents our future suffering by purifying the negativity that comes from our past non-virtuous actions (i.e., negative karma).
Next retreat date: October 17th | 8:45am - 12:30pm
These half-day retreats – gentle, peaceful meditations, unplugged from the digital world – are super helpful in our modern age, and we warmly invite you to take advantage of them.
Take a break from technology! If we step away from the constant buzz of notifications, social media, and digital obligations, we create space for introspection and mental clarity, so often elusive in our fast-paced world. This is a profound opportunity to disconnect from our distractions and connect with what is really important in our lives.
Friday, October 30th- Monday, November 2nd
The power of compassion is often underestimated and misunderstood in mainstream society. In this weekend mountain retreat we will explore the innumerable benefits that come from developing and maintaining a wise compassionate mind. This mind not only protects us from mental pain and physical suffering, but safeguards our consciousness when we are dying. The highlight of our retreat experience will be learning the magical practice of taking away suffering and giving love using the inner science of meditation.
