Kadampa Meditation Center Colorado is a place to learn and practice Buddhist meditation as a way to solve our daily problems, grow spiritually, and transform our world. We are a not for profit organization founded in 1999 and part of a worldwide network of over 1,200 Centers for modern Buddhism.
We’re glad you’ve found us and hope you find what you are looking for (and much more!). Everyone is welcome and warmly invited to try out any of the drop-in classes offered each week at our main center & branches (currently online). Here we explore Buddha’s practical and enjoyable methods for cultivating deep inner peace and happiness.
We do not discriminate based on race, gender, background, age, religion, politics, sexual orientation, or otherwise — everyone is always welcome at KMC Colorado and the other Centers around the world. With inner peace, wisdom, and compassion we can all make a better world now and for generations to come

Would you like to learn how to love others well? To overcome your own biases? Do you ever wonder how you can make a difference?
Because of the self-focused view, we now live in a world that is increasingly toxic and divided. The key to lasting inner and outer change is learning to transcend our self-interest through the extraordinary combination of wisdom and compassion known as "equalizing and exchanging self with others". Often termed the “holy secret of training the mind”, this sequence of spiritual practices has been helping to heal hearts and liberate minds since it was first taught by Buddha 2500 years ago.
