How to Solve Our Human Problems

In situations of conflict, we tend to become upset easily. We even think anger will help us ‘win our battles’, and we rely on it as if it were our trusted friend. The mind of anger, however, leaves a trail of broken relationships, lost opportunities, and painful feelings in its wake. There’s a reason for this.

During this talk we will explore Buddha’s illuminating and practical teachings on how to let go of anger. Putting these explanations into practice will enable us to transform the energy of anger into a centered, skillful and creative response that opens us up to resolutions and new possibilities.

How to Let Go of Insecurity

Many people think ‘I am an insecure person’ and everybody feels insecure from time to time. This insecurity undermines our happiness, our ability to be effective, and prevents us from being the confident, relaxed and beneficial person we all long to be.

Although we may have the habit of identifying ourself as insecure, no one is actually insecure by nature. In this special class we will explain how we can begin to connect to the underlying happiness and confidence that is our actual nature, and she will guide a meditation taking us into the experience of this peaceful and relaxed mind. It is this experience that will enable us to begin to let go of our mistaken insecurity and eventually be free of it altogether.
