Discovering the wonder of the mind:
A special public talk & meditation series in Boulder
Join us for a public talk and special series of classes with international meditation teacher Kadam Lucy James!
Our mind is our greatest natural resource, but all too often we fail to recognize it for the wonder that it is. We see our mind as limited and relate to it as something fixed or stuck, consequently often feeling trapped in painful states.
Our mind is the creator of our experience on every level, and therefore the key determining factor in whether we are happy or unhappy. In this series of classes Kadam Lucy will explain and guide us into the time-honored meditation known as ‘the clarity of the mind.’ Anyone can gain this experience, and it is truly life-altering. As well as leading us into a state of deep peace, it gives us a personal understanding of how our mind creates our reality: and with this confidence we can start to bring about limitless change.
This public talk and classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners. No special clothing is required.

Our main teacher at KMC Colorado is Kadam Lucy James. One of the senior teachers of Kadampa Buddhism, Kadam Lucy has taught extensively in England, Florida, and San Francisco, and helped set up many thriving meditation centers since 1981. She is regularly invited to teach courses around the United States and Europe due to her skill in presenting both simple and profound subjects with great clarity. For many years, one of her main jobs was to help with the editing and production of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s books, and she has engaged in extensive meditation retreat.
