Welcome the new year with a guided retreat on love, compassion and the supreme good heart, based on time-honored Buddhist Instructions from the book The New Eight Steps to Happiness.

On September 17 our most precious Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche showed the manner of passing peacefully into the clear light.

Venerable Geshe-la requested that for auspiciousness at this time all Kadampa centers around the world engage in a short retreat using his special prayer, Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche from his Faithful Disciples. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Tuesday, September 20th
9:00-10:30am: Session 1
11:15am-12:45pm: Session 2
4:30-6:00pm: Session 3
7:00-8:30pm: Session 4
Wednesday, September 21st
9:00-10:30am: Session 1
11:15am-12:45pm: Session 2
4:30-6:00pm: Session 3
7:00-8:30pm: General Program class

All too often we can become overwhelmed by our feelings. We can feel stuck, as if controlled by these feelings, left unable to deal with our challenges. We feel lost. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

When we begin to understand how our mind works and functions in daily life we will see that we are able to reverse this situation and we can actually be in control of our feelings. With Buddha’s teachings and the practice of meditation we will find ourselves ready and able to deal with any situation with a calm and peaceful mind.
