The Power of Positive Thinking

Positive thinking is most powerful when it comes genuinely from our hearts. If it is not genuine, then we risk feeling fake, or, even worse, we repress our more difficult feelings and thoughts. Then, even if we’re in the middle of our summer vacation, we don’t feel very happy inside.

Buddha had a lot to say on the subject of genuinely letting go of our mental pain and developing wise and happy states of mind. Once we discover the methods for cultivating this authentic positivity, our daily struggles will naturally decrease.

Habits of Happy People

Happiness is something we all strive for in our heart of hearts. Yet we tend to make the attainment of happiness more complicated than it actually is, and habitual negative ways of thinking can also take us in the opposite direction. In this series, we will explore eight inspiring contemplations and meditations from the Buddhist tradition that will uplift our mood and enrich our life on a daily basis.
