About the Event
Join us for a special half-day retreat! During this special course, you will receive teachings and guided meditations on the practice of Exchanging Self with Others. This yoga is one of the most important and practical of all of Buddha’s teachings.
“The path to enlightenment is really very simple. All we need to do is stop cherishing ourself and learn to cherish others. All other spiritual realizations will naturally follow from this.” —Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, The New Eight Steps to Happiness
By training our mind to be more aware of the happiness and well being of others, and meditating on this precious mind, we have the ability to change the way we see and interact with others in our daily life and in our world. In this way, we will solve all of our problems and we will experience deep inner peace.
Session 1: 10-11:30pm
Session 2: 12:30-2:00pm
Session 3: 2:00-2:15pm (Question & Answer session)
