Hotels and Restaurants Nearby

Hotels/Where to stay

KMC CO is located in the Slo-Hi neighborhood of Denver, but there are several interesting neighborhoods nearby such as Edgewater, Highlands, Tennyson and Arvada. We recommended avoiding hotels on Colfax road.

Best Walkable Option?—Airbnb

We suggest looking into Airbnbs in  the SloHi, Sloan's Lake, or Edgewater neighborhoods for closest accommodations to KMC CO and for the most walkable options.

Major Hotels Nearby

Highlands Neighborhood
Near Speer (heading towards downtown). There are several hotels 2 miles East on 29th. If you enjoy a modest walk, it is possible to walk from here to KMC CO. You could also take the bus from here.

Arvada Neighborhood
5 miles NW from KMC CO—would need a car

Food/Restaurants

There are many good restaurants around to choose from. Below is a suggestion of restaurants close to KMC CO which have vegetarian and vegan options.

Edgewater Public Market
An eclectic collective of local food stalls, retail boutiques, and rotating events.

Gladys
Gladys is a vegetable-focused food concept that celebrates, adores, & elevates all things "plant". The cuisine at gladys shifts with the seasons, supporting nearby farms, local purveyors, & artisans within our community

Cochina Tacos
Vegetarian tacos and salads available.

Meta Burger
There’s nothing more American than an old-fashioned burger and fries, but the 2019 version is made from soy, seasoned in-house, and decorated with toppings like vegan bacon. The hot dogs, shakes, French fries, and nachos here are also all vegan.

Spice Room | Neighborhood Indian Bistro
Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free cooking—one of Denver’s most vegetarian-friendly Indian dining experiences.

Vital Root
An almost completely vegan, fast-casual menu in the Tennyson Art District.
