About this class
These series of Buddhist meditation public talks are designed to attended by both those new to meditation and as well as those with an established meditation practice. Each class includes a teaching and meditation based on Buddha’s Sutra and/or Tantra teachings. Through these talks you can learn how to use Buddha’s advice in our own lives to solve all our daily problems and find the peace and happiness we seek.
February Month Talk
Learn meditations to help calm the mind, reduce stress, and give rise to an experience of inner peace and well being. When the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and our mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arise from within. These breathing meditations, guided by an experienced meditator, are practical methods to reduce stress and ease tensions.
March Monthly Talk
Learn guided meditations that will help you to relate to others in a positive and caring way. By learning to cherish others, we discover a deep inner peace and contentment for ourselves.
April Monthly Talk
Learn meditations that lead both beginners and experienced meditators on a journey exploring their own mind, through which you will discover your own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness. In each class, you will experience simple guided meditations are preceded by a short talk on Buddhism that allow you to gain a deeper experience of the meditation.
Diane is known for her generosity of spirit and love of Dharma. She has been studying and practicing Buddhism for over 10 years and was part of the first Kadampa temple in Montana.
